I am retiring on November 30^th. I will be in once a week during December and January. Dr. Michael Shang has purchased the practise and wishes to follow the holistic principles I have for the last 30 years.

Personally, this is a big deal. I have forged some very satisfying relationships with my staff and patients over many years and I will miss that comradery and interaction.

I thank you for supporting me and giving me such satisfying work for so long. The practice has supported me and my family on so many levels

I plan to move to Newcastle to live in a quieter place near my children and grandchildren and maintain the city/country mix with the farm. Thank you all.

For the future of the practice Dr. Michael is a highly skilled and compassionate dentist who shares my commitment to providing exceptional holistic care. With over 13 years’ experience and a passion for staying at the forefront of dental advancements, he is dedicated to continuing the high standards you have come to expect from our practice. He will work with you to figure out what is right for you and your oral health and listens to any concerns you may have.

In addition to the holistic dental, he will also offer other services including digital x-rays, Invisalign clear aligners and cosmetic dentistry. Like me, he loves dentistry and is excited to meet you and continue serving your dental needs.

I am committed to facilitating a smooth transition for him and thus I will be staying onboard one day a week till the end of January. We have worked hard behind the scenes to make this transition seamless, and having the confidence in my successor has made it much easier.

Thank you for trusting me with your dental care over the years. I know D. Michael will continue to provide you with the same level of care and compassion.
